Works well with Apple Mac (eventually) December 4, 2008
I'm totally happy with this product, but it was a bit of a hassle installing it. The CD supplied contains the Mac driver, but the installation guide provided is for PCs only. I ended up getting the Apple Mac installation guide from the edimax website, and then had the adaptor up and running in 5 minutes. Once installed, it does exactly what it should do.

Following the advice above, i downloaded the software from the Edimax site. I get a very good signal strength and 100% link. I previously bought a Belkin G+MIMO Desktop Card (30+) and that isn't anything like as good as this 11+ Edimax.

I didn't expect much but I wanted to try something that didn't cut out as regularly as my old Netgear wg111t.....have got to say that my signal strength has been at LEAST 91% with this beauty and has not dropped out yet. I am at the furthest point of my house and I have even picked up 4 other networks in the street! Buy it and you shan't be disappointed. Superb product.

Bought this on basis of other reviews for use in Inveratec laptop and Orange box to provide backup to erratic Intel built-in adapter. Whatever I do it always shows "disconnected". Downloaded up to date drivers from Edimax site;tried included connection software and Windows WZC, also reloaded drivers a number of times but no go although everything appears to be working.
Not for me it seems.

Received this morning set up in 10 minutes which is very good for me as I am not very good at this kind of thing, more than impressed with it. It found my BT Home Hub with no problems. Small Price, Great Performace 98% Signal Strength.
