3 out of 5 stars DISSAPOINTING LOW GRADE PICTURE QUALITY! :-(   January 4, 2009
So I wont speak about the actual content. Some of you will love the show, some will hate it. We all have our reasons. I loved most of the show. I will say that i do not like when she gets too campy (ie: copacabana(?) etc..)

The extras are just amazing. Love the backdrops! Would have loved to have seen this live if she just came to the US!

Ok so my big issue, picture quality?! 2 seperate people asked me if this was a bootleg or unofficial release. In this day and age with all the technology available there is absolutely no reason why a concert from 2008 on dvd looks like its on VHS from 98. The editing was horrifying. The cameras shook alot. The angles did no justice to some of the intricate choreography. I am very dissapointed by the technical quality.

5 out of 5 stars Atmospheric   January 4, 2009
I watched this dvd for the first time tonight. The filming is not as slick as the Showgirl dvd but this dvd captures something very important ... ATMOSPHERE ..... I saw the show at the O2 Arena ... the dvd shows how great the concert was ... not just the great music and stage etc ... but the buzz of the crowd

4 out of 5 stars Great show, not sure about song choices...   December 20, 2008

I have all of Kylie's concert DVDs and was very impressed with this one. I saw the show on 4Music first and thought it was great so eagerly bought the DVD and with 28 songs it really is a great concert. However there are a couple of things wrong with it that prevent it from getting a 5 star rating. The picture quality is not great, very grainy during the close-ups which is a shame especially since most things are filmed in HD these days. Another issue I have with the concert is the song choices. Criminally fan favourites 'Better the Devil You Know' and 'Confide in Me' have been left out of this concert. For me these are 2 of Kylie's greatest tracks and I love the different versions she does in each concert so its a shame they were missing here, especially since there are some definate fillers. The new tracks are nice but is in really necessary to have 2 new tracks at a gig? Having said that the ballad Flower is beautiful, nice to see Kylie tackle a big ballad. The whole 'Love Boat and Cococabana' section for me just didn't work. This wasn't on the original 4 Music showing and I can see why. I have always disliked Loveboat and feel it doesn't fit with the electro pop of the rest of the concert. This whole section is too cheesy and camp and really jarrs from the sophisticated electro of the rest of the concert. I mean cococabana...seriouly Kylie what were you thinking?? Can see myself skipping this section in future.
Having said all that though, visually the concert is stunning, the geisha section being a particular favourite (Confide in Me would have been perfect here.) Kylie's vocals are also incredibly strong, particularly demonstrated during Your Disco Needs You. I do feel there is perhaps too many songs from X, nearly the whole album, and although I did like this album tracks like NU-DI-TY really could have been left out.
Anyway any Kylie fan will love this DVD, great buy and great price!

4 out of 5 stars Kylie was in Lima-Peru...and she rocked!   December 14, 2008
I've got to tell you something: this concert DVD will blow your mind away! The costumes, the choreography, the colours...the colours! Besides, you can find 28 songs here; when she came to Lima over a month ago she sang fewer songs, I don't know why.

Maybe I would've liked some Spanish subtitles, since all her previous DVDs have them, I don't know why this one doesn't. The screen projections are amazing! Maybe they could have added a booklet inside with photos from the concert as well as writing the cities visited by Kylie on this tour (considering it was the very first time she came to South America). We were very excited to have her here in Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina and Brazil. I really would like her to tour in Latin America again.

All in all, it is a very good concert, she looks so sexy and professional. I love her, I`m a very big fan here in Lima. If you like Kylie, do not hesitate, buy it!

I've got to add something: at moments, the picture quality is not exactly the best. It looks grainy.

3 out of 5 stars Will always love Kylie but this was not the best   December 11, 2008

I will always love Kylie and I will buy any Kylie DVD - ALWAYS.

The recording quality is bad though. Even upscaled. Perhaps because the O2 is such a big venue? Why else would close ups be poorer than previous shows? A let down! I thought that the TV airing was just rushed for 4Music and that the DVD HAD to be better... ITS NOT!

The editing is not as slick as Showgirl or even Fever and it has a grainy quality through out.

Thumbs down!!!

P.s Every Kylie fan should own a copy though!
