The ONE to beat! October 16, 2008

After the slightly disappointing season 3 grey's anatomy season 4 had to be the season that was best by all standards, and i have to say it even out performed the unmissable season 2.
During the season we watched the now residents relationships flourish and diminish. The biggest mistake ever was Izzie and George getting together although the break up of George's marriage opened the floodgates for a relationship with a difference for Callie. Throughout the season viewers were waiting in anticipation for the MERDER realtionship to make a move forward... although this looked very doubtful after Derek starts "dating"
Cristina gets a shock from her past, and is challenged in her chosen career path in Cardio-thoracics upon the arrival of Dr. Erica Hahn. This season shows the abrput, comedy and competitive nature that cristina is well known and loved for, although we also see her more vulnerable side, when the shock appears and especially towards the season finale when it's obvious that Cristina doesn't want to loose her "person" and best friend Meredith-( this continues into season 5)
There are a few guest appearences this season, as well as new characters who join the regular cast, one in particular Lexie Grey - Meredith's half sister.
Season 4 contains all the usual medical drama, comedy and romance we have become accustommed to, In my opinion is the best season to date, definately one that should not be missed!

I loved Season 4 of Grey's Anatomy!! I had always thought that S2 was the best but after watching the S4 finale, i think S4 is the best yet!! All the characters went through such changes, especially Meredith!!! I love this season!!
Here is my list of the S4 highlights:
1. Season Premiere- I loved how they connected it to the very first episode, extremely funny!
2. Derek admitting that he wants to marry Meredith! And all of his plans to build the house, it was so cute!!
3. Meredith finally getting therapy. She finally is becoming "whole and healed". I was so shocked when she said what her mother did when Mer was just 5!! I was horrified!! So amazing!
4. Lexie Grey. I didn't think i would like her when it looked like she might get in the way of MerDer but she doesn't come close to anything like that. Plus she is really funny and sweet!!
5. Derek & Mark's relationship. I'm so glad they're friends again because they're so funny!!!
6. Callie & Hahn. The first lesbian couple!! Interesting to see how that develops!!
7. Derek & Rose. Ok i'll have to explain this. I am a completely obsessed Meredith & Derek fan so it may seen weird that i count this as a highlight. But i don't actually hate Rose and i think this relationship was necessary to show Derek how much he loves Meredith. He just couldn't stay away from her! Rose was and always will be the rebound girl!!!
8. Addison's return. Yeah it was only for one episode, but it was a very good episode and i love her telling Meredith not to let Derek slip away.
9. Meredith & Derek's clinical trial. I loved that storyline. We all know that Derek only agreed to do the clinical trial because he wanted to be close to Meredith but i love how they had to work together and were a great team! Plus, i love how it was Meredith's idea! She's my favorite character and it really showed what a good doctor she is!! I especially loved the whole champagne thing and in the finale when they finally saved a patient!!
And my top favorite moment is..... (drumroll)
10. The Season Finale. OMG this was the most amazing finale ever. Every minute was incredible. The action, romance and comedy!! I loved how Derek and Meredith worked together and all their little looks! I love how Rose admitted that she feels threatened by the "Legend Of Meredith & Derek" and her realisation that Derek is in no way over Meredith. They last 1o minutes were unbelievable. That kissing montage of the c different characters was incredible and i was literally sitting with my mouth open for all of it. And of course, after the kissing montage was the best scene in Grey's history!!..... That amazing scene that i can't stop watching!! The one where Derek comes home while searching for Meredith and finds her outside his trailer. I still can't believe that Meredith did that!! It was so romantic!! In case, you have no idea what im talking about, i'll explain. Derek was looking everywhere for Meredith and comes home to his trailer to look there. He goes outside where Meredith had laid out the plans for their future house in candles! They talk about the house and their plans and then Derek cuts Meredith off by kissing her (their best kiss ever!!) and then he tells her to wait there because he needs to break up with Rose. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Most amazing scene ever!! And it was so sweet when Derek was walking away and you could see how happy he is - so cute!!!
So that's my (rather long) list of highlights. The point is that this is an incredible season and you should definitely buy it!!
Oh and if you haven't seen the Season yet i'm very sorry for all the spoilers!
