Then look no further- This is Toon gore violent Fun Fun Fun!
Hilarious stuff- not for kids- but you know they all watch it anyway.

I purchased this DVD because i had seen a number of the short episodes on the internet and thought that the stated "140min" content would keep me amused for hours! Alas! I had watched every episode in 15minutes and I wasn't that impressed. I know this is the original disc (so old content), however there is nothing on here what couldnt be seen on various internet sites in the SWF format (For Free!), the DVD does contain a good background to the creation however I mainly bought it for the films. If you can put up with the annoying intro inbetween every single 1min clip and need to watch them on your TV then this dvd is probably for you. This is a short lived DVD that will probably sit in my cupboard for a while before i watch it again.

Happy Tree Friends is a guilty pleasure. You know it's wrong, but it's just too funny to stop.If you only buy one series, don't buy series one. The ideas and the animation definitely improved through series two and three, and these are better purchases.

It's funny no doubt but these are not as well animated as the new ones but they still have originality. It loses apeal after a while seeing the episodes last 2 minutes and there is a lack of special features.

well...People say Happy Tree Friends is to gory for children but im 12 and i own Volume 1 On DVD, You Cant stop yourself watching because of how funny it is. It is basicly a comedy with gore like having your head come off by hitting a tree, but the HTF Crew are fine at first, if you like cute stuff you will but attracted by the DVD Cover and then the start of each episode but then you will probably turn away at the sight of Blood.You do get Over 2 Hours of HTF on Vol 1 Most of it being First Character Sketches and Storyboard to episode comparisons Overall if you like silly comedys then buy this but if you are unsure about it you should rent it first.
